My name is Paula Chesley and I’m an American linguist living in Canada (Edmonton, to be precise). I have a PhD in linguistics from the University of Minnesota, and I study the lexicon and vocabulary acquisition, mostly from psycholinguistic, sociolinguistic, and computational perspectives. For 2011-2012, I’m a visiting professor in the linguistics department at the University of Alberta. If you’re interested in my research, check out my professional website.
